Darren Lorimer

SENIOR VICE-PRESIDENT AND GROUP HEAD, COMMERCIAL BANKING

Darren serves as Equitable Bank’s Senior Vice-President and Group Head, Commercial Banking. He leads a team of more than five hundred outstanding commercial bankers across seven business lines that provide services to clients, brokers, partners and credit unions.

In 2015, Darren joined Equitable Bank as the Vice-President of Commercial Lending. He became part of the Equitable team following a 21-year tenure at TD Bank. During his time at TD, Darren held various roles, most recently as Vice-President Financial Restructuring Group.

Darren has a wealth of industry experience, having worked in commercial and corporate lending, business development, national accounts, operational risk and compliance and credit risk management.

A graduate of Wilfred Laurier University’s Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree, Darren attended the Ivey Executive Program at Western University. He is a CFA charterholder.
